We start the Merzouga camel excursion in Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. Camel trekking in Merzouga desert is most popular activity in Morocco. This 2 nights Merzouga Sahara desert tour starts in the late afternoon / evening, and we ride camels for around 1 hour and half to reach Merzouga desert camp. Once we reach a camp we enjoy a Berber dinner served in desert camp. We will spend this night in Merzouga desert camp with Berber drum music in Sahara desert.
In the morning we will continue our 2 nights Morocco Camel trek in Merzouga by having a good breakfast because we will be still traveling almost 2 hours to reach our next destination. We stop one hour and a half for lunch (Berber Pizza) under a typical desert tree. After lunch, we will continue our way to a small oasis where we will spend the second night.
Today in the morning we watch desert sunrise and then we ride camels back to the village. You will have breakfast and take shower in local riad / hotel.

There are two different types of tents in desert and they are all private : Standard normal tents and Luxury desert tents. Normal: black nomadic tents without shower and WC for share. Luxury white big tent with WC and shower hot water inside thetent and quality.
You won't need a sleeping bag on our Morocco Camel tours as you'll be staying in our desert camp provides all the bedding you need including pillows and blankets...
If you choose to spend a night in the Sahara, we journey there by camel for an authentic Berber experience. The camel trek is about an hour and a half. If you prefer to walk then you can walk alongside our camel caravan but bear in mind that walking in sand can be tiring.
The average group size depends on number of reservations in your date, but the capacity of our desert camp is 12 pax (Small group only).
Yes, travellers who are not intrested in camel ride and want to spend night in the desert, we transfer them by 4WD to the desert camp.
Spring (March - May) and autumn (September - November) are the best times to visit Morocco. At these times of the year you can expect pleasant temperatures and plenty of sunshine. The landscape is particularly lovely in spring when it's green and lush while autumn provides the best weather conditions for trekking.
